In the Realtek HD control panel, do I need to set the output to Stereo (with Virtual Surround ticked) or 5.1 or 7. With the inclusion of THX TruStudio Pro, the new MSI models are capable of delivering cinema-like premium sound and accurate reproduction of any type of music or soundtrack. The Msi mobo plugin running in the background which is great but.its using over 9 cpu usage just for the plugin, even idle it causes my cpu to run at 66c from the new mid 40s. As I understand, THX TruStudio Pro Surround is supposed to take a 5.1/7.1 signal and recreate it virtually on stereo headphones/speakers. So anyone had any luck with this THX TruStudio PRO on windows 8.1 they have a win 8 version i tried it but it does not seem to do anything, but get rid of realtek sound enhancements on my ALC 892 codec, but it will not change the sound quality or anything, it install with out errors and microsoft compatibility page says it compatible with win 8.1.
